PQQ was classified as a
Nootropic. It means it is a substance that most likely enhances brain functions such as memory and mental focus.

Scientists believe that they are on their way to prove that PQQ is Ubiquinol's
best companion.

"We cannot yet prove anything,
but what we have
is highly promising."

MOTHER NATURE PRESENTS COQ10 AS TWO COMPOUNDS. Scientists call them Ubiquinone and Ubiquinol. I represent Ubiquinol as 'high octane jet fuel.' Scientists represent Ubiquinol as a dynamo for our heart, liver, and kidneys as well as a proficient antioxidant.

The antioxidant hallmark is because of the presence of spare electrons that Ubiquinol donates to Free Radicals. In doing so, Ubiquinol prevents Free Radicals from stealing an electron from healthy cells. When Free Radicals steal an electron from healthy cells, those cells oxidize and the Aging Process accelerates.

All of the above is what scientists tell us, but as I Fork & Slice their knowledge, I deciphered that there is a critical issue to comprehend. Here it is: around our 20s, we enjoy healthy blood concentration of CoQ10. Moreover, 100% of CoQ10 ingested through food or supplements becomes Ubiquinol; but in our 30s approaching 40s, just over half of ingested CoQ10 becomes Ubiquinol. Approaching our 60s and 70s, the difficulty our body has to convert CoQ10 into Ubiquinol is more severe reaching around 20% to 30% in our 80s. It is easy to deduce that we may consume either CoQ10 or Ubiquinol in our 20s; but as we enter our 30s ~and beyond~ Ubiquinol is the only option.

It also means that approaching our 40s our heart, liver, and kidney could develop health conditions as a result of lengthy periods of time with not much 'high octane jet fuel.'

another marvel > Mother Nature has created yet another nutrient of great value to us and our pets. It has a weird-sounding name: Pyrroloquinoline Quinone, but also known as PQQ. It was discovered in 1964. The FDA approved it in 2012 and considers PQQ as 'Generally Regarded As Safe' or GRAS. PQQ has also been approved by the 'Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare' of Japan. The 'Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company' of Japan has a patented-form of PQQ that they call 'BioPQQ.'

western scientists at work > Scientists are serious because preliminary tests lead them to suspect that CoQ10 and PQQ meaningfully enhance each other. They are aware that combined effects of certain nutrients have a greater impact by enhancing absorption and/or creating more potent effect on our health as opposed to each nutrient working individually. Therefore, scientists perceive that CoQ10 & PQQ could be the next winning combination.

Approaching the end of 2024, their research continues to confirm.
